Ravi practices before the National Company Law Tribunals and the High Courts of India in the niche areas of Corporate Commercial, Insolvency & Restructuring law, working at the intersect of Law & Finance.
His practice areas are Corporate Commercial law and Insolvency actions & resolution with accent on financial & operational restructuring, valuation, formulating business rescue or resolution plans or compromise schemes, turnaround strategy, so as to unlock value in the underlying stressed assets within the framework of the Indian Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code 2016 & Indian Companies Act 2013. Streamlining and restructuring/turning around a Company and its finances rather than liquidation and thus uncovering value in stressed assets is his core business case.
Ravi has worked, consulted & delivered projects, managed relationships & led corporate initiatives for 25+ years in multiple geographies including US and UK, engaging with marquee clients and Fortune 50 companies including JP Morgan Chase, MetLife, eBay, Intuit, IBM and McKinsey & Co even while learning and distilling best practices and principles from these institutions. In all these initiatives Ravi has worked at the intersect of Law/Corporate Finance/Information technology in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance & Retail business domains.
Ravi practices before the NCLTs and the High Courts in the areas of Company Law, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code and GST both in litigation and advisory mode. Ravi has led/defended insolvency and corporate actions for different stakeholders including corporate debtors, creditors and resolution applicants.
Further he mentors a small set of law students providing personal guidance and devotes on a quarterly basis, hours in teaching students in a private law school.
